• In charge of $300,000 grant from the U.S. Department of State - Burmese Refugee Scholarship Program, which assists four Burmese students annually to move from India or Thailand to the U.S. to pursue a degree in higher education - reviewing applications, interviews, selection, orientation upon arrival, placement into Intensive English Language program, placement into degree program, and all follow-up. • Filed asylum applications, from parolee status, arranged for asymed interviews, prepared client for asylum interview. 100% success rate.• Assist Angolan students sponsored by Sonangol with placement in academic programs. • Manage $5 million annual scholarship program for la Caixa Savings Bank, Spain, to send 50 Spanish graduate students to the US for higher education.
