It was acquired by Kanbay International, Inc., a global IT services firm, in 2004.Shortly after joining Megatec as HR Administrator, I took on the role of HR & Admin Manager to fill a maternity leave position. As I stepped into the role, acquisition by Kanbay (an international IT services company headquarted in the US) commenced. My responsibilities included conducting an organisational review of Kanbay's operations in the Asia Pac region, and subsequent development of a change management plan to align with new corporate objectives. I presented the change management plan at the group's global HR forum in India.Day to day responsibilities encompassed overseeing all HR activities, training and development including the design and implementation of a mentoring program for IT professionals, management of admin and support staff. Supervision of payroll and salary sacrifice agreements also formed part of this role.
