Staff Assistant in the Finance Department. Assist with filing Purchasing Orders, Special Requests For Checks, Interdepartmental items, working with receipts, and other duties as assigned. Also sit at reception desk and field questions from students on various aspects of their student loans, etc. Answer phones.

Interact with students, faculty, staff and community in managing the front office desk. Monitor the building. Interact with service people who service fitness equipment. Interact with, and perform duties for Athletic Director. Prepare reports for director of building. Interact and work directly with campus nurse (requires HIPPA certification). Handle phone calls for both athletic building and switchboard for entire campus. Position requires good social skills and pleasant personality.

Accept assignments for feature articles and the taking of pictures for those articles, directly from publisher. Interview subjects for articles and take pictures of same. Write article and submit article and pictures. Occasionally work directly in office on certain issues. Position requires good social skills and ability to interview subjects well. Position entails knowing Word program well, as well as ability to take digital pictures and submit them electronically.
