I started off my professional career as an art teacher for the St. Charles, Missouri Public School district, teaching Grades K - 12. When my contract was completed, I relocated to Texas with my new husband and we entered into private business ownership. Although we prospered at first, the oil crisis devastated our candle factory and we decided that we would both look for more reliable employment options that provided pensions. Since I was not certified in Texas, I went to work for the State of Texas. After a 25-year career, I retired from the Texas Workforce Commission where I developed expertise in customer service, job development, unemplpyment insurance benefits , and, in my final years, as a training specialist and help-line consultant. After being retired for a few years, I decided that I wanted to join the workforce again and became a licensed insurance agent for Life & Health. I spent a couple years helping people obtain Mortgage Protection, Life & Accident insurance, and then Medicare Advantage plans. To this day I am AHIP Certified with several major companies and offer services to my clients.Presently, I am receiving satisfaction in helping others to appreciate the value of having a pension and /or annuities that will assure them of the privilege of having reliable income. Equally important is providing information and plans that will insure that they have adequate health coverage both presently and in their later years. I currently hold a Life & Health insurance license in several states and advise people about the value of life, health, and annuity products. I feel that I can truly help other persons to attain the benefits they need due to my vast experience in my own professional life. I am excited to share this opportunity with others who also desire to have a secure financial future.
