Managing resources and co-ordinating with business partners. Initial contact and problem definition completed, then solutions presented to customer for approval. Our approach to new customers was to use action research as a tool to view the problem; we engaged the clients to both describe the problems and to work out what would be the best approach for their needs; to address the issues and in what time frame. Statistics were taken on such things as error rates, staff retention, skill levels, then an action oriented plan was agreed. Data and results of training interventions were are fed back in open joint sessions. Project management from inception, proof of concept, scoping, estimating, budget management, resourcing, planning, control and development, delivery and implementation of many types of projects. Training others to PMI standards in Project Management, training corporate clients in the use of MS Project software. I was contracted by Project Management Institute NZ to run several courses on Why Projects Fail.
