Responsibilities as Clinical Supervisor included serving diverse cultures consisting of predominantly Latinos, African Americans, Caucasians and Native Americans.  For instance, college interns, addiction counselor trainees, health professionals, and chemical dependency professionals. Also conducted supervision for employees by observing groups and individual therapy while maintaining files of this process for counselor’s plans using the TAP 21 Manuel to guide trainees.  Other duties included implementing a co-occurring intensive out-patient group, and training others to facilitate these groups.  Other projects involved implementing a twelve week couples group for mental health and chemical dependency partners; audited files to prepare for County, State and Federal on-site inspection by funders.

Responsible for administrative oversight and direct supervision of employees in the Intensive In-Home, School Based, Therapeutic Aide, Multidisciplinary Team, Lanai F and School Based Day Treatment programs of MYFS.  Responsible for establishing the tone of treatment modalities and ensuring that a therapeutic milieu is empirically based and theoretically sound.  Responsible for maintaining a balanced budget for five programs.
