Responsible for installation, configuration and maintenance of multiple PeopleSoft 8.8 and 8.9 Applications. Responsible for the entire PeopleSoft technology stack including: Oracle 11g databases, WebLogic, Tuxedo, custom shell scripts, Oracle Enterprise Manager, PeopleTools and PeopleSoft Application Modules.

Upgrade Lab

Serve as an upgrader responsible for all pieces of the PeopleTools and application upgrades from the initial kickoff call through go live. Work with clients and internal staff to establish project timelines and ensures that project remains on schedule. Resolve environmental issues for a number of environments, which includes installation and setup of PeopleSoft/Tools software and third party apps for the database, application, Process Scheduler and Web Servers. Monitor the progress of all bug reports. Provide expert advice, assistance and recommended solutions to client upgrade team and development. Perform multiple passes, both initial and move to production, of enterprise upgrades which included the PeopleTools upgrade, data conversion and the data type conversion process. Provide expert advice to development for platform specific issues regarding the upgrade process, scripts, conversions, documentation, and performance tuning. Recommend new strategies and solutions that improved the upgrade lab’s upgrade process. Perform database administration, backup and recovery. Assist with developing or improving departmental standards and procedures, including developing technical, methodology, and training documentation.
