I am a dynamic Human Resources Technician with varied knowledge and experience. I put into practice what I know while challenging myself to develop new skills. I am a dedicated and determined worker who is trustworthy, organized, and efficient. I am able to use my 20 years of retail customer service, management, and organizational experience in an exciting position working for an organization that serves the public. I work closely with employees and administrators to maintain their Florida Educators Certification. I provide support for the applicant tracking system and the sub finder system, and track all employee evaluations. Create reports for vacancy listings, substitute fill rates, and certification tracking. Develop PowerPoint presentation to train new substitute teachers on the job finder system and to train administrators on certification information. Develop new information for the HR Certification webpage. Communicate daily with applicants and employees about certification questions. Coordinate training for new HR Specialists. I worked almost twenty years for a retail chain expanding my experience and knowledge of business. Experience gained by working over fifteen years on the store side of retail assisting customers and managing associates while running the cash office. Experience gained by working in corporate retail HR assisting store management, communicating with applicants, and collaborating with co-workers. I reviewed pre-employment screenings and managed the adverse action process. I facilitated individual assessments of candidates, as well as, evaluated and retained records. I am knowledgeable about completing the Form I-9 and E-verify, auditing Forms I-9, and running reports from E-verify. I developed a business plan and business requirements document to implement an internal audit. I tested a new vendor product from an end-user perspective, provided feedback, and worked with the project team to improve the product. While working in the store I had responsibility for cash control, ordering supplies, maintaining equipment, scheduling and training associates, reviewing time/attendance records, and completing disciplinary action on associates. I maintained all records for the front-end and cash office to ensure readiness for auditing. I trained new managers for the district on all job functions of my position. I have computer experience using many programs, including applicant tracking systems, cloud based software, and Microsoft Office, and can learn any new software.
