Consultant Client: Great American Insurance Co. October 1996 - August 2000 •Completed extensive backlog of ad-hoc reporting projects. •Implemented year 2000 changes in the on-line portion of the Automated Draft Issuance System. Involved close client/user interface and performance testing.•Implemented on-line production system to aid client/users to run routine ad-hoc reports independently. FOCUS, COBOL, DB2, JCL, CLIST, Easytrieve Plus, CICS, COBOL, JCL, and VSAM.Consultant Client: The Kroger Company October 1990 - December, 1995•Implemented an enhancement to the PL/1 and IMS interface between the corporate scanning system and the product identification database. Assisted with system testing and implementation of an enhancement to a new computer assisted ordering system. •Worked with the product identification database (PID) group to implement enhancements to the FOCUS/Dialogue Manager Reporting System. •Developed a new FOCUS/Dialogue Manager on-line reporting system called File Request. Worked in all phases of the system life cycle on this project providing the technical design, coding, unit and system testing, user documentation, implementation, and user training. Responsible for about 80 on-line and batch FOCUS programs in the system.•Production systems support, maintenance, and data analysis for all interfaces to the corporate product identification database (PID) system. This system was written using PL/1 and IMS. Maintenance included work on JCL, PROCS, and PL/1 & IMS programs. Data analysis most frequently involved the design and creation of batch FOCUS jobs.•Responsible for the technical design, development, coding, testing, and implementation of PL/1 and IMS programs that provided the initial load and maintenance of the point of sale scanning system (POS) from the product identification (PID) and the price management system (PMS) databases.
