With sweeping views of the Ottawa River, Gatineau Hills and Rideau Falls, The Royal Canadian Geographical Society's new Centre for Geography and Exploration is a truly prestigious site for your gathering, meeting or special event. Among the available spaces are the Alex Trebek Theatre, an intimate 280-seat auditorium with soaring 20-foot ceilings, retractable seating and integrated screen + projector; two boardrooms with space for up to 25 people; and upper and main galleries complete with floor-to-ceiling windows, spectacular views of the Ottawa River, Gatineau Hills and the Rideau Falls! The galleries can accommodate 120 guests for a cocktail reception, 80 for a sit-down meal and up to 60 for a board meeting. An outdoor covered terrace on the main floor and covered balcony on the upper level encourage guests to enjoy fresh air or a drink al fresco.
