Retired from arts and project administration with skills in museum, exhibits, graphic, program design; non-profit management, lobbying, organizational structuring, local, state and international civic projects; currently secretary of Board, Power of One, an NGO dedicated to support of projects improving the lives of people in other countries especially Africa and Asia; Chair of Fine Arts Committee and active in arts research and compilation of All Soul's Unitarian Church history and its collections; secretary of Contemporary Club; member, Graffiti Committee, ad hoc Indianapolis interest group to engage motivated youth; newsletter design and production for select groups.

Community volunteer & Activist

Includes liaison with projects in India, Nepal, Pakistan focused on Women's Education; projects in Kenya, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Cameroon, South Africa, Mexico, Jamaica focused on women's and children's education, and microenterprise.

Conception, planning, facilitation and coordination of a city-wide project under the auspices of Rotary, the city, IUPUI, Clarian and other major institutions to identify potential Indianapolis gateways locations; co-chaired mayor's committe and selection committee; planned and implemented international design competition; continue liaison for project

Planned and implemented state-wide programs and presentations to foster care and adoption agencies and the state of Indiana for administrators, related organizations, potential and current adoptive parents on the services and information available to them through IFCAA.

Researched and identified potential sites for new public sculpture pieceslocally and around the state, then provided liaison with site owners, corporations and public institutions for the creation and installation of art pieces for Second Globe, a sister company of Young & Laramore, a local advertising and design company.

Traveled to communities throughout the state after completing design of a Millennium Communities handbook and structuring a series of events and programs to encourage communities to form their own local committees, events, projects and programs, then come together to share their ideas with one another and be proud of their achievements that all aded up to a vibrant and growing Indiana:2000.

Creation of Plan for Business and the Arts; provided liaison with the State department of Tourism; Coordinator of 10 State Midwest Conference on Cultural Tourism; Local Arts Agencies Advisor; Coordinator of Governor's Residence Arts Exhibitions; Coordinator of Governor's Arts Awards

Indiana's only registered arts lobbyist on local and national levels; directed, fundraised for and traveled the state speaking to and for two 200+ member not-for profit arts education and advocacy organizations; served as secretary of the SAALA, the national States' Arts Advocacy Association from 1994-1996

Facilitated creation, collected objects, designed programs, fundraised and administrated all functions of a $3M, 14,000 sq.ft., not-for-profit museum located in a commercial environment (Union Station) in Indianapolis, Indiana. 11 staff members, permanent and changing exhibits about the past, present and future of Indiana.

Responsible for the creation, planning and implementation of all children's program, events and theatre productions; served on exhibit creation teams and as point person for major events.

Coordinated and scheduled student art classes, seminars and programs, hung frequently-changing exhibits by local and Indiana artists, provided liaison with other local arts and social service organizations.

Creation, planning and implementation of programs and tours for families and youth; direction of the Docent Program, Public relations coordination for programs, outreach and representation of institution to community programs, arts and cultural organizations; national presentations and official participation in AAM (American Association of Museums), AIM (Assoc. Indiana Museums).
