Responsible for managing two Software Quality teams, both of which included on-site and offshore contractors as well as permanent Bose employees, working in several different countries around the world. Managed the software test effort at Bose (through Randstad) for a new home entertainment audio system that included DVD, CD, AM and FM functions, a hard drive that could store hundreds of music tracks, software that learned and played the musical preferences of different users, and 5.1 surround speakers.- Developed a new process for capturing the software requirements to verify that 100% of the requirements were tested- Managed the development of automation software to test the new music selection algorithms- Successfully managed a team to validate the system software on a very aggressive schedule in time for production- Earned a promotion to manage the Automotive Software Quality group after success in the Home Entertainment Group
