Manage business development and marketing efforts for Res Ipsa, a trial technology and consulting services firm. Responsibilities span all aspects of the small business, including marketing, operations, HR and accounting.

Oversaw and managed the Austin office of a Boston-based strategic communications agency - owned by global marketing and communications agency FleishmanHillard and publicly traded under Omnicom Group (NYSE: OMC). Managed $2 million in annual revenue and 13 employees. Managed the agency’s largest account, Freescale Semiconductor (now NXP Semiconductors (NASDAQ:NXPI), and all other accounts handled out of the Austin office. On-going responsibilities included revenue generation, client account service, executive media training, crisis communication training, PR program planning and digital and communications strategy for all accounts.

Led all public relations efforts promoting AMD Athlon™ 64 technology for personal computers to mainstream and consumer media, including broadcast, radio, lifestyle media and mainstream media outlets.Managed both domestic and international public relations efforts supporting AMD’s integrated communications consumer marketing campaign for Athlon™ 64. The campaign was the largest marketing initiative targeted at consumers in AMD’s history at the time.

Managed 10-person regional office for international marketing agency based in San Francisco. Responsibilities included new business generation, account service management, office maintenance and staff development. Account service management included public relations, advertising, branding, lead generation, website development and online and offline marketing campaigns.Prior to Austin position, worked in San Francisco office for four years on numerous technology accounts.

Responsible for editorial content for each monthly magazine issue. Circulation at the time was 38,000. Wrote cover stories and majority of copy focused on communities within Dallas.Administered photographers and freelancers, setting and editing assignments and managing deadlines.

Nominated by University of Arizona Journalism Dept. to work as paid intern for Deputy Press Secretary. Responsibilities included media relations, drafting press releases and writing quotes and bylines on behalf of U.S. Senator DeConcini. At the time, Senator DeConcini was Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, which oversees the FBI, CIA and ATF.
