Massage therapy started for me with the massage of my son who had been diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer. After three years of "practice" and an intense interest in learning complementary alternatives to traditional forms of cancer treatment I started the Massage Therapy Program at Globe University/Minnesota School of Business.Being in this field has been a blessing which has opened doors to working with cancer patients at the Hubert Humphrey Cancer Center. My dream is to share the benefits of touch therapy with those patients receiving chemotherapy or radiation. Comforting patients, decreasing the negative side effects and improving the outcomes of treatment are but a few of the benefits to be achieved.A secondary benefit over the last year has been my introduction to the nutritional teachings of Nutritional Weight and Wellness. My receptionist position there has exposed me to additional avenues of treating health issues. I love sharing the gifts I have been given.
