Working in the Networks team on network and security related topics as well as remote management and diagnostics of devices and networks. My major contributions included:Quantenna, which resulted in a new unique WLAN bridge to transmit HD TV in house. The project covered all aspects of the development of a new product such as:- the evaluation of the first prototype of the world's first 4x4 multiple input, multiple output (MIMO) 802.11n WLAN chip- testing and improvements of the chip- product launch preparations such as compliance tests, user trials as well as the integration into the Swisscom landscape- the go-to-market itself.Digital Home, which deals with in-home networking infrastructure as well pro-active network monitoring and debugging in order to reduce customer care calls; special tasks included- the definition of a solution to handle the complexity of today's digital home for the customer and Swisscom- a prototype of that solution- as well as a path to market.Project manager of the Broadband Networks Tomorrow exploration program. This included the organization of several sub-projects including- the definition of those projects,- the strategic alignment,- and the planning and assignment of resources.
