Perform complex purchasing functions based on the Société de transport de Montréal´s established procurement policies and best practices : • Acquire goods, materials and contractual services for assigned merchandise groups in accordance with the Société de Transport de Montréal´s procurement policies and procedures.• Research and contact potential suppliers to determine availability and price of the required goods, materials or contractual services.• Prepare specifications and issue request for quotations, tenders or request for proposals within delegated purchasing authority limits.• Develop competitive opportunities to acquire goods and services.• Evaluate received bids to ensure compliance, compare prices, review technical specifications, quality, delivery commitments, and other factors.• Create purchase agreements and issuance of purchase orders.• Manage logistics, transportation, handling of products ordered. • Manage supplier’s business relationship. • Monitor and analyse purchasing trends and activity to identify and recommend strategic sourcing opportunities.• Advise internal requesters or users of procurement process and best practices.• Maintain replenishment of stock for assigned merchandise groups.

• Procure IT equipment for our worldwide project offices• Purchase goods and services for departments through competitive bid process or negotiations• Prepare Requests for Quotations “RFQ's” and Request for Proposals “RFP's”• Manage orders for local and international projects• Negotiate best terms and conditions with suppliers • Handle professional services, licensing and maintenance contracts • Develop, certify and manage vendor relationships• Provide strategic advices to procure the necessary goods for each project• Prepare strategic procurement analysis• Plan and manage logistics, transportation and handling of products ordered• Assist logistics coordinator in preparing import/export documents

• Timely preparation of weekly communications for Enterprise IS-IT Services• Translation of inter & intra departmental notes and memos • Preparation and publication of the monthly IS-IT Scorecard• New project creation, management, and follow up within SAP• Management of several concurrent hardware and software project purchases • Professional services, licensing, and maintenance contract management • Creation of Purchase Orders for the IS-IT team• Quote negotiation with multiple suppliers• Inventory management• Accounts Payable & Accounts receivable tracking for ordered products• Creation of monthly chargeback reports for multiple projects• Preparation of monthly accruals for the IS-IT team • Customer invoice follow up• Maintenance of client satisfaction levels• Addressing billing inquiries from Business Unit managers
