I am a civil engineer with an emphasis on structures and a master's degree in structural engineering, which I dedicated to the study of maritime structures. Working as a marine structural engineer since the beginning of my career, I have accumulated extensive experience in the design and structural assessment of reinforced concrete and steel structures for port and industrial facilities, as well as consultancy studies.My design experience includes piers, mooring and berthing dolphins, retaining structures, relieving slabs, access bridges, operating platforms, pipe-racks, cable-racks, belt conveyors, transfer houses, warehouses and other structures. Being involved in various international projects, I have had the opportunity to familiarize myself with different engineering codes and practices around the world, applied to terminals handling various products - such as iron ore, containers, LNG, grain, fertilizers, etc.Since 2022, I have been a member of the standards committee of the ABNT Working Group that wrote the new Brazilian NBR 19782 - Norma Brasileira de Ações e Projeto de Estruturas Portuárias.
