Reporting to the CFO I solely managed and administered every aspect of Human Resources for a consortium of companies in the healthcare field conformed by MD at Home, Homescript Pharmacy, Dietitians at Home, and Wound Care Solutions. My responsibilities included: policy/process creation and management, compensation/benefits (analysis, design, administrator), employee relations/coaching, performance management, training, regulatory compliance, EEO, workers' compensation, and full cycle recruiting.During my role in Human Resources I worked closely with the owners to implement HR efforts aimed to communicate and support the company's mission and strategic vision, participated in budget preparation activities in alignment with company goals, and assisted executive management in the annual review process. In addition, I conducted research into personnel programs and activities to attract quality talent, improve morale and reduce turnover and conducted exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations. Investigated, recommended, and prepared policies affecting personnel, advised supervisors and others on resolving personnel matters and proactively identified areas of improvement for personnel training and departmental compliance.

Fulfilled a broad range of HR functions in a flagship 4-star 4-diamond hotel, including recruiting and training employees, administering benefits, overseeing payroll, disciplinary action and managing HR records. Conducted annual benefits enrollment meetings, resolved conflicts between employees, coordinated health fairs to promote employee wellness and performed exit interviews. Managed leave of absence programs, workers compensation claims. Headed the health and safety committee and diversity committee.Consulted on compensation and benefits packages and processed all candidate offers. Completed reference checks, background checks, and drug screen. Created and maintained candidates tracking system, processed visas for candidates abroad, and conducted new hire employee on-boarding. Created the “Employee Experience Survey” for interns to ensure the training program met the expectations of the students.Coached and counseled managers regarding employee relations issues to ensure compliance to company policies and employment laws, consult with legal counsel and conduct investigations including guidance on progressive discipline procedures.Responsible for all HR communications within the organization to include creation of the quarterly newsletter.

Assisted in the pre-screening of all applicants, performed background checks, references and outsourced drug testing. Organized all the hire paperwork and created employee files. Coordinated exit paperwork for departing employees.Responsible for ordering supplies, reconciling all invoices, and administering the HR checkbook.
