Launching, improving and expanding the Fresh for Less Mobile Market program. The purpose of the Fresh for Less Mobile Markets are to provide high-quality, local produce and shelf-stable goods in safe, and convenient locations at reduced prices in areas with geographic or economic barriers to good food.- Launched the Fresh for Less Mobile Market program, funded by the City of Austin- Doubled total sales and sales made using SNAP and incentives from first to the second year- Sold over $54,000 of local produce, eggs and honey to families with geographic and economic barriers to good food in the first two years- Implemented and collaborated on various food access programming for the organization, including a Local Food Promotion Program (LFPP) Feasibility Study- Managed procurement, quality control and minimizing food waste by creating Standard Operating Procedures, training staff on proper handling and finding creative outlets for excess produce- Participated in Austin/Travis County Food Policy Board – Food Access Working Group to coordinate with organizations, city agencies and other partners to improve food access
