Upon receiving the Tomlinson Engagement Award for Mentoring for my performance on the course (CHEM120), I had the chance to become a student mentor to aid in course delivery. I hold weekly sessions to help students with the content, solve exercises with them and give peer support and guidance throughout the course.

Upon excellent performance on the course, I was granted the position of course assistant for COMP208 (Computer Programming for Physical Sciences and Engineering). I hold weekly office hours in which I help students with questions from lectures, review code written (python) and give suggestions on improvement, pointing where the code might have failed and bringing up points from class instruction. I also help monitor the course's discussion board, answering questions student might face during the course.
