I currently work in a Director role where I lead and support a team of people committed to combating the opiate epidemic in Downeast Maine. For 12 years, I engaged in direct practice which included working with individuals who have anxiety, depression, substance use disorder, and who are terminally ill. I used these experiences and the knowledge gained to inform the macro level work I presently do which includes managing staff, grant writing, program creation, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation.
