Caroline C. Tanner Email and Phone Number
I'm Caroline, a journalist at heart who spent most of college and then some working in advertising/PR before I decided to listen to my heart and become a professional journalist. Since graduating college, I've lived all over, from D.C. to Chicago to New York City, with a few stops in between. In my journalism experience, I have written primarily about politics and business, ranging from local to national news and most recently covered energy and environmental policy as a Congressional reporter. In addition, I am passionate about labor and tech, and spent nearly a year working on a long-form reporting project on the gender pay disparity in the financial services industry. As a millennial, I am interested in issues that we face, and wrote a front piece page on D.C. being named the best place for millennials to live in 2018 on my first day as an intern at a top 10 U.S. newspaper.Outside of work, I enjoy working out and supporting local news initiatives.I am a 2014 Magna Cum Laude graduate of the Missouri School of Journalism & 2018 graduate of the Medill School of Journalism.
