As an Integrative Neuroscience graduate from Binghamton University, I am passionate about studying the brain and how different internal and external factors affect adolescent development and psychopathology. Currently, I work as a Project Coordinator within the UNC Developmental and Social Neuroscience Lab under Dr. Eva Telzer. I am very excited for the opportunity to gain valuable research experiences before I pursue my PhD in Clinical Psychology. I have gained ample research experience as a research assistant at the Binghamton Mood Disorders Institute, where I helped facilitate various projects exploring attentional biases and their links to the development of depression in adults, children, and infants. I have also broadened my research skills as a summer undergraduate research fellow at SUNY Upstate Medical University Hospital, where I collected behavior data and learned about applied behavior analysis in both clinical and basic research settings. Additionally, I developed my leadership and communication skills as a student assistant at the Office of Health Promotion and Prevention Services at Binghamton, where I oversaw a cohort of interns and planned events and educational campaigns on topics such as mental health and substance misuse on campus. Through these positions, I have demonstrated my ability to work with diverse populations, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to meaningful research and initiatives.

TreasurerBinghamton University Jan 2021 - Dec 2022Binghamton University, New York, United StatesI became connected to Planned Parenthood when a few friends and I decided to organize a grassroots protest through the Women's March. We hosted virtual march with speakers that discussed a variety of issues from Roe v Wade to domestic violence in October of 2020. This was the initial connection that allowed Planned Parenthood of Greater New York to reach out to us. We were encouraged to start our own chapter of Planned Parenthood Generation Action Fund so that we could create an outlet for activists at Binghamton University. As the treasurer, my role was to manage any spending or funds that come through our organization as well as keeping inventory of any merchandise or equipment we have. -
Summer Undergraduate Research FellowSuny Upstate Medical University Hospital Jun 2023 - Aug 2023Syracuse, New York, United StatesAs a SURF student, I am broadening my research experiences to include Applied Behavior Analysis in both clinical research settings and basic research settings. I collect behavior data at the Golisano Center for Special Needs which is used to identify the underlying functions of problematic behaviors and design effective treatments. The primary goal of treatment at severe behavior clinic is to reduce inappropriate target behaviors and to increase alternative behaviors, such as functional communication responses. In the feeding disorder clinic, treatment aims to increase acceptance of food and eventually have clients consume a well balanced diet. In the basic research lab, I am conducting a project on resurgence of ethanol seeking in rats. -
