I am a special needs parent, first. As a professional, I support parents rights to advocate for their children and help secure proper supports and services for their special needs children, and adults. I've worked in the special needs industry for over 30 years, in schools, group homes, foster homes, management as well as direct care. I train other providers to obtain an HCS/TxHml contract, CARE data entry and billing, and audit preparation. I've also trained HCS nursing staff and case managers on proper documentation and meeting state requirements for the HCS program.I help families advocate for their children in a school setting, and find appropriate services and supports throughout their area.
