I am a recent graduate with my BBA in Marketing and BBA in Management from Texas Tech University, currently using my passion for social media marketing and brand management in a Digital Marketing Coordinator position at an entertainment district in Arlington, Texas.Throughout my undergrad, I was quickly captivated by brand promotion and how consumers contribute to its development. Because of my fascination with the role psychology plays in businesses and organizations, I added a double major in management to further understand the strategy behind brand establishment. Growing up in Dallas, I have been raised to love the city’s atmosphere and fast-paced life. I believe this contributes to why I have become such a flexible and social person. In the past, I worked as an intern for the City of Richardson Parks and Recreation Department. I not only learned to promote community events in the city but deeply developed skills in problem-solving and meeting the needs of hundreds through fantastic mentors. Meeting and talking to new people is something that comes naturally to me, which has helped me transition into college and build valuable relationships. I love problem-solving, and consider my creative and interpersonal skills are prime contributors to this asset.Check out my personal site here https://carolinelcombs.wixsite.com/personalsite its a work in progress so it's constantly being updated!

Social Media Coordinator - Rawls Center For Global EngagementTexas Tech University - Rawls College Of Business May 2019 - Jul 2019Lubbock, Tx, UsDuring the summer of 2019, I was given the opportunity to study internationally, while traveling I worked with Rawls Center for Global Engagement as a Student Social Media Coordinator. This was a promotional tool created to inspire global enrichment in business students. Students began to identify with the international experience they were seeing, initiating increased program applicants and new members to the Rawls Advisory Council. A few months later, I had the honor to represent the Rawls College of Business and the Center for Global Engagement as a guest speaker at the Rawls Advisory Council breakfast. I spoke on behalf of the business students to potential donors and mentors about global engagement and its benefits. Before departing, I was selected to be a McKenzie Scholarship Recipient. I was selected through a creative video essay. This will forever be one of my favorite projects I have completed. Although my video editing is amateur, this allowed me to show my creative talents while expressing my desire to study abroad and the finical obligations to do so. -
Children + Youth Ministries InternRidgewood Park United Methodist Church, Inc. May 2018 - Aug 2018While on the full time on staff at the Ridgewood Park United Methodist Church, I worked on a team that implemented an entirely new worship series. This project was a promotion tool to increase fellowship and assimilate the different age groups of the church. By combining traditional and contemporary aspects of each worship service we were able to increase Sunday attendance for the summer (heavy traveling) months. My role was to be the liaison between the team and the youth in the church to support their involvement in the Church. Through this, I prepared, delegated and executed an entire Church service conducted by the Youth Group. I Promoted and led weekly worships, Bible Study, Sunday School, and programming events. I also updated social media accounts as well as assisting in the Worship itinerary, newsletters, and weekly bulletin. I attended and mentored all summer mission and camp trips for the children and youth ministries.

Parks And Recreation Department InternCity Of Richardson Texas Aug 2016 - Dec 2016Richardson, Texas, UsI worked closely with the Community Events Coordinator to arrange, conduct, and publicize community events throughout the city. I worked directly in the execution of the annual Cottonwood Art Festival, where I worked in the set-up booths and assisted vendors before and during the festival. My main task, however, was to analyze the data from a city-wide survey regarding the opinions of public pools. The Department was struggling with public pool attendance from the past summer and was looking for community engagement. I engineered several promotional tactics that offered a simple yet strategic way to increase pool turnout.
