About Caroline D

I have worked in the Social Housing Industry for the last 19 years, I started as a Customer Service Advisor and then went on to work in Housing Management as a Housing Officer, I have worked as a Rents Officer, Anti- Social Behavior Officer and Specialist setting up a team of 20 Community Safety Officers , by opting to work solely in that field of work for a year , logging types of cases , time spent an average day , travelling , working with customers, and logging cases and all relevant administrative tasks to successfully take to either Restorative Justice a form of mediation or to prepare for Court , and then moved into Health and Safety. I have successfully brought a Landscaping project in on time actually two weeks early and within budget , including training of staff of effects of Noise and Vibration , how to self monitor , trained Supervisors and Line Management how to carry out effectively monitor and audit staff , have replaced inefficient equipment and generally made the work of the landscaping team , more effective, safer and easier. I have helped tenants who were experiencing Financial Hardships , carrying out benefit checks , referring to Debt advisors , and helping people with budgeting, amongst safeguarding and sustaining tenancies that would effectively have gone through the Court process and caused increase in Homelessness etc, I am now trained in Intentional Peer support and have decided that my passion is for working with people to overcome their Mental Health, and move into recovery, I have lots of experience of Personality Disorders, Depression and Anxiety. I also have loads of experience of the Welfare Reform and enjoy working with people to encourage financial and social inclusion, instead of stigma and exclusion. I want to make a difference to people who have a background of Complex Trauma, nowadays people need to feel supported and heard , not shut down and exiled .
