I am proud to have established an Inter-Chapter Event with Mizzou’s Delta Sigma Pi - Alpha Beta, fostering collaboration and community engagement. In my role, I planned and executed multiple campus-wide events in partnership with various non-profits, including the Adair County Food Pantry, Adair County Humane Society, and our Chapter’s philanthropy, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. These events, such as Yoga in the Quad and Delta Sigma Puppies in the Quad, brought together students for social activities while supporting meaningful causes. Additionally, I coordinated the School of Business Crewneck Sale with Beta Alpha Psi, the accounting fraternity, further strengthening inter-organizational ties. In line with our commitment to service, I organized and led volunteer events such as Highway Cleanups, Humane Society Orientation sessions, and group volunteering sessions at the food pantry, fostering a spirit of giving back within our community. Through these initiatives, I honed my leadership, organizational, and teamwork skills, leaving a lasting impact on both our Chapter and the community.

As the Leadership Director for Missouri DECA, I serve as an executive producer for all Missouri DECA State Conferences of 5,000 students. I assisted in managing business partnerships, editing scripts, managing backstage production, and brand management. Yearly, when elections are coming up for the State Action Team and District Vice Presidents, I facilitate the interview process for 50+ high school candidates. In my position, my main responsibility is to manage, coach, and mentor 18 high school State Officers through hands-on leadership training, conference planning, meeting facilitation, and regular check-ins.

State and National Qualifier for Marketing Concepts

I served on the Missouri DECA State Action Team 74. In my role, I planned and executed state-wide community service events. I also worked closely with a national representative from the Muscular Dystrophy Association, on how Missouri DECA could best support them. I took on responsibilities outside of my role, such as creating and implementing monthly newsletters and calendars. I also held monthly Zoom calls for Chapter Presidents and District Vice Presidents to get reports on how different levels of the organizations were doing as well as having interactive leadership development programs. As Vice President of Community Service for Missouri DECA, I executed the highest-raising community service event at their State Career Development Conference and received the Gary Hanman scholarship for my work for Missouri DECA.

As an IB Ambassador, I advocated for the IB program within my school. This involves sharing information about the benefits of IB education to prospective students. I also offered guidance and support to students who are considering enrolling in the IB program. This might involve answering questions, providing insights into the IB curriculum, and sharing personal experiences.
