Serves as a liasion between customers, the community, and Growing High Point's farms, balancing the needs of all three stakeholders. I work to promote access to fresh, local produce to the High Point Community through managing weekly Growdega stops, educational visits, and connecting with local farmers to aggregate produce for Growing High Point's mobile store and the farmer's market.

Through the College Fellow program at Elon, I have been conducting research on how the pandemic has influenced waste accumulation and sustainability programs on the collegiate scale for the past 2 years, and am excited to present my findings on SURF day in Spring of 2023.

- Develop programming to encourage local food purchasing and engagement in Lee County- Connect with child care centers and deliver fresh produce to incorporate in snacks & meals weekly- Conduct research on solutions to expand fresh produce accessibility for families and children

I had the amazing opportunity to study abroad for 3 months in Costa Rica! My Sustainability & Social Justice program through ICDS had a full course load, and offered cultural and service experiences as well. I'm grateful to have stayed with a host family that made it easy to immerse myself in the language and culture. As an Environmental Studies major with Spanish and Sociology minors, this program provided me with insight and experience in many dimensions.

- Coordinated and executed campus events celebrating various religious and cultural traditions- Facilitated and participated in local and intercollegiate interfaith dialogue- Contributed as a writer to the Truitt Center Blog

- Created and hosted events promoting sustainability in East Neighborhood and across campus- Facilitated Sustainable Living Lessons and Campus Sustainability Tours to various classes
