· Assist land managers on County-owned natural lands. Participate and assist with coordinating activities necessary to properly manage county natural lands including, but not limited to assessment of natural communities, invasive species control and removal, prescribed burning, amenities maintenance, habitat restoration and public outreach. · Develop contract specifications and perform contractor oversight for land management activities. · Assist ES III in collection, analysis and evaluation of land management projects/data including GPS/GIS information, effectiveness of land management and monitoring strategies for their restoration and maintenance. · Assist ES III with monitoring and documentation of native and invasive wildlife. · Document, monitor and treatment of exotic plant occurrences on natural area lands to include reporting pesticide usage, and equipment maintenance.
