Hello! My name is Caroline DiMaggio, and I am a Pre Med student at Monmouth University studying Health Science with minors in Biology and Chemistry. I have worked as both a Medical Assistant and Physical Therapy Aide where I have gained 1,000+ hours of hands-on patient care experience. Working as a Medical Assistant I learned to take vitals, perform EKGs, give strep tests and Covid tests, as well as many other clinical tasks. While working as a PTA I learned communication skills by directing patients with exercises and charting their progress. On campus, I have been a Resident Assistant for the past three years where I am placed in a freshman building, helping underclassmen get adjusted to college living. I also work as a Writing Assistant where I help other students in essay writing and development. Additionally, I am a sister of Alpha Omicron Pi where I served two leadership positions as Director of Lifetime Engagement and Director of Academics.
