Responsibilities include intervention with grade 6-12 students, scheduling and attending 504/ARD meetings, updating 504 plans, dyslexia evaluations, leading the district dyslexia team of interventionists, input of PEIMS data, and providing staff development. In addition, during the 2018-2019 school year, I coordinated state testing for the school district, grades 3-12.

This was a new position to the district in 2015. I rebuilt the G/T program by creating new identification processes. Changes included moving from whole group to small group gifted instruction, implementing a district-wide gifted curriculum, and showcasing projects in expositions. Other responsibilities included parent awareness meetings, staff development, and coordinating testing and identification. During this time I held a leadership position with the state G/T organization.
