Led major overhaul of all marketing and communications efforts to include a complete rebrand of the organization. Created and established the first comprehensive and targeted communications initiatives, unique to both internal and external audiences. Examples of increasing and maximizing visibility, by means of content and communications, include, but are not limited to, areas such as social platforms that grew more than 800% in a 5-year period. These initiatives resulted in a strong, steady and relevant following of organic growth.Daily endeavors include:Implementing marketing and communications strategies that support the evolving objectives and goals for York County Economic Development, as well as identifying opportunities to best showcase economic development efforts locally, regionally and internationally. Work hand in hand with organization staff and allies in an effort to execute marketing efforts that support and facilitate new business and economic development, as well as the vitality of existing industry.Develop, direct, create and/or manage the editorial, design and production process of collateral and digital materials. Assist in planning, organizing and connecting audiences from the region, state and local levels regarding cause-related marketing, economic development summits, industry milestone and other special events.Act as the organization’s media liaison in regards to news release preparation, ghostwriting, coordination and/or support of media appearances and speaking engagements, etc.Develop, direct, and manage consistent image and brand throughout the York County Economic Development organization.

Managed & drove the concept, development and completion of the company magazine, direct mail pieces, and advertisements to include written content, graphic design, editing and layout.Key in bringing about the company's first venture into social media communications, executed in keeping with company voice and tone. Created, established and grew a strong and relevant following that led to steady organic growth. Interceded, edited and served as a ghostwriter for company executives (i.e. written publications, press releases, internal communications, website, etc.)Developed and maintained relationships with appropriate media outlets and client relations. Managed and/or assisted in executing company events to include creative direction, planning, coordination and budget management. Planned and executed milestone ceremonies in coordination with owners, architects and business partners.Coordinated with consulting firm to effectively develop and execute new website for company. Drove the direction and use of all graphics, photography, content, copy, and layout. Supported and promoted the company’s philanthropic efforts. This role ranged from ensuring the visibility and importance of charitable contributions, to serving as a liaison and spokesperson for major fund raising events.

Served as liaison for residential “Center of Excellence” for other JE Dunn offices. In this role, I led media relations for the division, to include vision, pitch and content resulting in over $125,000 in national and regional press at no cost to division. Created and drove award submittals taking top honors in major trade publications. Managed and developed response to request for proposals, qualifications and presentations in order to win new work. Developed vision, copy and content and for internal communications. Designed and created all graphics and marketing materials for division in accordance with business development and evolving objectives to include proposals, events flyers, direct mail pieces, sponsorships and advertisements.Planned and executed numerous milestone ceremonies, in coordination with owners and architects on high profile construction projects in uptown Charlotte. These milestones include groundbreakings, topping outs, and grand openings often involving C-level executives and local or regional dignitaries.

Corporate Support: Coordinated and compiled all completed project photography from 26 offices across United States. Manipulated and logged photos in various formats for use in a marketing capacity on web and in print media.Assisted each of the 26 United States divisions with the selection of photography needs for use in presentations, materials, banners, and other related collateral. Assisted with editing information for proposals and project profile sheets.Assisted with internal and external events often involving all offices throughout the United States and Australia.
