Currently contracted to mark GCSE Literature Paper 2 (Shakespeare and 19th century texts) Critical understanding of all texts on the current specifications needed. Reading student scripts and allotting Assessment Objectives throughout the scripts in order to ascertain the most tolerant level from mark scheme. Working to tight schedule to ensure targets are met / liaising with Team Leader / Sr Examiners. Consistency of marking is ensured through: the standardisation process, the use of  the level descriptors in the mark scheme and through comparison of previous scripts already marked by senior examiners.
