I am a current student at the University of South Carolina pursuing a degree in public relations with a minor in business administration. I am incredibly passionate about creating relationships, strategic communications, creative problem solving and have a high attention to detail. This summer I have had the pleasure of serving as a public affairs intern at Chernoff Newman, one of the premier communications agencies in the Southeast. In this position I have been able to grow my writing, communication, and research skills, as well as learn from inspiring individuals in the industry. Outside of the professional world, I love being involved on campus at the University of South Carolina. I am a member of Alpha Kappa Psi, which is the number one co-ed professional fraternity on campus. I previously served as the organizations University Relations chair, and am currently serving as the Vice President of Recruitment. In this role I facilitate an intensive week long recruitment process and an eight-week long new member development program, that focuses on personal and professional development. Also on campus I am involved with the University Ambassadors program, where I serve as a tour guide and market campus and share my love for USC to visitors and potential students.At the end of the day, the number one thing I tell people about myself is that I am a people person. I love to surround myself with people and learn who they are and hear their story.
