My flair for building relationships and great communication enabled me to enjoy a career in Client Management within the Digital Marketing sphere up until I decided to leave agency life to concentrate on family life. In December 2020 I decided to follow my passion for wellbeing and menstrual health and started All Yours Period Box CIC to help support people in my local community struggling with period poverty. The project quickly spread from my local community to cover West Berkshire, South Oxfordshire, Reading, Basingstoke and much of Wiltshire.I have created a series of workshops that educate and support people with their menstrual health and I am currently working with schools to deliver sessions that help students understand their period and how to manage it so they feel comfortable and confident each month.Running a social enterprise has come with its own set of challenges and I have had to quickly learn a whole new set of skills for running my own business and managing a team of over thirty volunteers. I was awarded the inaugural "Change Leader" Award at the 2021 Harper's Bazaar Women of the Year Awards and it recognised the force for good that All Yours has become. My priority for 2022 is ensuring that people continue to receive the support they need for a safe and dignified period each month and ensure that young people can access quality period education.
