As a part of my University placement I worked as a bespoke seamstress for Beaufort Interiors, making made to measure luxury curtains and furnishing. As the products were uniquely designed for each client they required a high level of accuracy when machining. My roles included operating a wide range of industrial sewing equipment, organising and interoperating design specification sheets, working with the rest of the design and production team to complete large contract jobs that required a fast turnaround. I contributed to high end projects across Northern Ireland and Europe, assisting in the installation and transportation of goods ensuring the highest of quality and service was delivered.
