As the global lead for Intellectual Property & Brand Protection for ETS, I spearhead the management and enforcement of ETS’s IP portfolio, including trademarks, copyrights, and domains, to safeguard ETS and its subsidiaries’ interests. I oversee international infringement cases, licensing, permissions, and introduce automation initiatives to enhance efficiency. I developed and implemented a global IP strategy aligned with business goals and serve as a subject-matter expert on strategic decisions. I manage a multi-level team, oversee budget and cost control measures that reduced legal spend by $2.5 million annually, and collaborate cross-functionally with key internal stakeholders. My role includes managing brand protection and IP Portfolios programs in 160 countries and maintaining compliance with ETS’s interests.

Oversee & contribute to overall functioning of the Trademark, Domain and Infringement staff within the Intellectual Property Group including the ETS Trademark Portfolio; Protection of Trademark, Domain and Copyright; Enforcement of Trademark and Copyright; Trademark Licensing; and the ETS Domain Portfolio.

Primary responsibility for investigating, monitoring, and removing trademark and copyright infringement and cheat activity on social media and mobile app platforms. Monitors ETS affiliate and third party domain content and registration to ensure compliance with trademark and domain guidelines and communication with these entities regarding non-compliance or infringement until resolution is met.

Supported infringement investigation, affiliate compliance, and internal legal branding reviews for the Trademark, Domain, and Infringement (TDI) team. Primary responsibility for trademark and copyright enforcement on social media and mobile applications to ensure proper use of trademarks.

• Conduct evaluation of third party English and non-English language websites, including researching ownership, business relationship with ETS, redirects and weblinks to protect ETS's intellectual property rights. • Monitor open cases in MarkMonitor and update the database with current actions and progress regularly.• Provide support for other intellectual property (non-website) related work products and issues, including side-by-side copyright infringement comparisons.

• Drafted a high volume of visa petitions and applications daily for foreign nationals seeking employment in the US, while maintaining attention to detail and client confidentiality.a) Nonimmigrant (temporary) visa petitions and applications included E-2s, TNs, L-1 A/B Blankets, H-1B/H-4, L-1/L-2 A/B, J-1 and F-1 student visas, and Employment Authorization Documents (EADs). b) Immigrant (permanent residency) petitions and applications included Adjustments of Status (AOS) and I-140 Immigrant Petitions. • Researched and wrote detailed support letters for client's cases before US Consulates/Embassies and the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS).• Maintained a workload of 20-40 cases monthly, with flexibility to receive new assignments from other team members as needed. • Collaborated with visa coordinators, human resources personnel, hiring managers, and foreign nationals through email and phone.
