Som produktionsingenjör vid transmissionsbearbetningen på Scania är jag ansvarig projektledare vid investeringar i nya maskiner och utrustningar till våra produktionslinjer. I min tjänst ingår även kontinuerlig förbättring av befintliga linjer med fokus på kapacitet, kvalitet och säkerhet.Sedan september 2022 har jag även fått förtroendet att vara team leader i min grupp. Några av ansvarsområdena i rollen innefattar upplärning och handledning av nya kollegor, driva förbättringsaktiviteter inom gruppen, förvalta best practice och koordinera arbetet i gruppen för att möta våra strategiska planer.

Degree project: Friction and wear study of lean powder metallurgy steel in a lubricated sliding contact. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) and Vertical scanning interferometry (VSI) are some of the analytical methods I have worked with.

During the summer I was responsible for the planning and execution of all parts in two different projects. The goal was to gain a better understanding of the biological ponds that BillerudKorsnäs uses when purifying water from the factory. A larger sedimentation experiment, as well as temperature and oxygen measurements, were carried out.

Kemlab - Lye samples were analyzed with regards to Sulfur, chlorides and pH, to name a few. I was given the opportunity to deepen my knowledge of laboratory work from the previous summer and build on my experience from the company.

Wet lab - The employment involved collecting samples at the factory and performing accredited analyzes on suspended substances with methods such as filtration, pH and conductivity measurements. Gained great insight into how chemistry is used in companies and how the environment in a factory is laid out.
