Creating that environment through training, coaching, organizational development interventions, effective project management, and relationship-building is what gets me out of bed every morning.When I graduated the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, I commissioned directly into the Fleet, leading sailors across three deployments, multiple certification cycles, and a whole lot of time at sea. I discovered a passion for creating high-performing teams. I also discovered the joy of meeting learners where they are to really connect learning to practical application. That's where my long-term love affair with Organizational Development, Talent Development, and Project Management started.After serving six years on active duty, I made the decision to transition off active duty and move to the Madison, WI area. A sense of mission is incredibly important to me, so when I saw an opening with my local Girl Scouts council I jumped at the opportunity. I was brought on as a key part of the working group to transition our CRM to Salesforce - with all the organizational change management, organizational design, and project management that entailed. I trained our team on effective sales techniques, developed and executed targeted recruitment strategies, and developed analytics and dashboards to ensure data-backed decision making. I was invited to train and coach council CEOs, COOs, and leadership staff from across the country.
