Director of national pediatric cardiology research and quality improvement program to improve feeding, gross motor skills and QOL for first-year infants

I am proud of my clinical work at Mount Sinai Hospital. I am taking care of children with a variety of developmental and behavioral disorders including autism, genetic syndromes, ADHD, and premature brain injury. I feel privileged to be able to help families maximize their child’s potential. In caring for patients, I take a whole-child approach to optimizing each child’s functioning within his/her community. I dedicate clinical efforts to ensuring best practices in nutrition, sleep, parenting and educational enrichment for each child. My area of excellence is clinical expertise and innovation. Innovative care in our developmental clinic is unique in its family-centered, collaborative approach. We combine evidence-based approaches from child psychiatry and neurology, rehabilitation medicine, sleep medicine, nutrition, social work, and general pediatrics in our medical home model of care.
