Caroline Morelli is a motivational leader passionate about the intersection of policy, strategy and operations that creates sustainable change in the healthcare industry. She currently serves as Senior Manager for Manatt Health and is based out of the firms' Albany office. Caroline’s background in government affairs, strategic planning and operational implementation in healthcare provides her a unique perspective when developing strategy and policy recommendations for clients. Prior to joining Manatt, Caroline was a VP for a small healthcare consulting and lobbying firm, where she managed day-to-day operations and advocacy services for health and human services clients. Prior to moving to Albany, Caroline served as Director of Operations at Mount Sinai Beth Israel (MSBI), the only major full-service 300-bed hospital in Lower Manhattan where she oversaw strategic planning, project management and operations. Caroline also served as the Assistant Director of Strategic Planning at Mount Sinai Health System in Manhattan prior to moving to her role at MSBI. Most notably, in the Spring of 2020, Caroline served as the Chief Logistics Officer during the first wave of COVID-19 as part of MSBI’s Emergency Healthcare Incident Command Center. In this senior leadership role, Caroline participated in strategic planning, operations, ongoing monitoring, and real-time management of emergency preparedness and response, provision of essential hospital and outpatient services, coordination with multiple federal, state and local government agencies, protection of vulnerable hospital patients, ensuring effective infection control practices, protection of hospital and system staff, supply chain issues, and ensuring timely and effective communication to the public, staff, patients and loved ones, government agencies, and the media. In essence, she was involved in all aspects of emergency preparedness and response to protect the health and safety of patients, staff, and the public. Prior to joining the Mount Sinai Health System, Caroline spent six years as a management consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers where she advised providers, pharmaceutical and medical device companies on complex business issues.​
