This included running a series of focus groups with drivers and frontline colleagues to establish their wants & needs, using the data to propose actions, and implementing the agreed actions. The main action arising from the recommendations was to design and implement a new comms framework - principles for communications, channels matrix and all the associated processes, tools and templates. In addition, this work involved reviewing the comms training for frontline leaders and setting up an employee forum.I also managed the production of the internal newspaper for frontline colleagues which required a total refresh, acting on feedback received from those teams. Production involved planning the stories to be used in line with the strategy, reviewing the language and tone, and working alongside a third party agency to manage the story collation, writing and sign off process.Whilst at Yodel I was also involved in the leadership conference, collating the content for the weekly and monthly leadership calls, inputting to the company narrative to make it real for frontline colleagues, and consulting on best practice for communicating with remote workers. -
