• Conducted post-production processing of images, including processing images, adding metadata, color correcting, removing dust, cropping, etc. Advanced techniques used within Adobe Photoshop to remove backgrounds and manual stitch images together. • Worked with Graphic Design and Publications department on exhibition catalog, This included color correcting, providing match prints, and overseeing final color proofing before catalogs and additional marking materials were sent to print. • Worked directly with contract photographers to obtain digital files from tethered equipment, and made recommendations to photographers on issues with images to capture the best possible shot.• Assisted the Head of Digital Assets with the maintenance of the Museum’s Digital Asset Management System. Worked with Piction DAM system and TMS heavily in this position. • Used 3D Scanning Equipment to help in the digitization of the museum's sculptural collection.

Instructor: Digital Imaging II (Advanced Photoshop and Lightroom), and Digital Basic Photography. Within Digital Imaging II, I taught undergraduate students within the School of Communications' Photography program. In this course the focus was advanced features within Adobe Photoshop. The goal within the class was to give them as many real life examples as possible before they begin looking for work in their field. Some examples include advanced portrait retouching, composite imagery, restorations, and even video editing within the program. Within Digital Basic Photography, students enrolled were generally non-majors who were looking for a general overview of photography. With emphasis on helping them get comfortable with digital photography, students were exposed to the basics of capture and print, and left the course being able to use their cameras fully in manual mode.

• Assistant Manager of Photographic and Digital Darkroom within the School of Communications. • Provide support in operations of traditional wet darkroom and digital print lab. Duties include maintaining hi-end photo equipment, training and managing work-study students, and assisting faculty with requests.The videos featured below were recorded and edited by me, in an attempt to help students get a better understanding of the traditional processes and cameras we use in the photographic lab. Since their posting online, we have seen an improvement in the student's understanding of the processes and equipment. (And also less equipment being damaged!)

Subjects: Black and White Darkroom, Digital PhotographyAt the St. Charles Community College, I enjoyed teaching students of all ages and skills as they began learning about both traditional wet darkroom and digital photography. Additionally, I worked independently with advanced students who are hoping to further their skills both in digital and analog format.

Additionally students focused on advanced color control within photography, and how they can use their cameras, the computer, and printer to enhance their images.Photography II focused on Black and White Darkroom analog printing for students in the fine art program. Additionally, basic non-silver processes including Cyanotype, Van Dyke Brown printing, and Gum Bichromate were introduced.

• Staff Photographer, working closely with the Graphic designers for the Publications department including website and print media.• Executed a wide variety of different types of photo assignments including events, grip-and grins, landscape beauty shots, macros, and editorial images. • Trained to coordinate photo requests from Publications department and archive digital files.

• Assisted Dan Dreyfus directly in execution of Photographic shoots both in studio and on location, and used advanced camera equipment and capture software. • Edited using software programs on a Macintosh based platform including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Bridge to prepare images as per specifications of Photographer.• General office assistant; prepared and sent sample images to clients, took dictation and wrote correspondence, and professionally assisted clients during their time in the studio.
