About Caroline Phillips

I am an experienced educator and teacher leader with a passion for driving macro-level change and fostering professional growth within the education ecosystem. In my current a role (designated by the NYCDOE Office of Teacher Leadership) I lead my school's Instructional Leadership Team, design and implement professional learning, and collaborate with school leaders to develop tailored action plans based on data-driven insights and instructional priorities. My work around teacher leadership and professional development has been highlighted at the district level, as well as on the national and international stage.In addition to my leadership role, I am a Master Teacher at Math for America - where I design, facilitate, and participate in professional development for exceptional STEM teachers across NYC - and continue supporting students as a Middle Grades Science Teacher. I have experience in curriculum design, content development, and consulting services in the EdTech space.Recognized as a Big Apple Teaching Award Nominee and a National Board Certified Teacher, I am committed to lifelong learning, innovation, and collaboration to drive positive change in education.
