As a Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner, I am able to function as an independent healthcare provider who, while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team, is responsible for providing comprehensive care to both well and ill patients in an outpatient setting. I personally demonstrate a high degree of clinical expertise in working with patients with acute and chronic illnesses, specifically cancer patients in active treatment.
