I recently moved to the Highlands after working in Dumfries & Galloway.I have worked in Tourism since 2002 having previously worked with RBS in various roles, culminating in Branch Manager.I love nothing better than meeting people and making genuine connections where we can work positively together. In my current role I :-Provide business advice to pre-starts, start-ups, existing and growing businesses.Identify the support needed and signposting businesses to other Agencies such as Business Gateway, Council, HIE Etc. Understand the local tourism business landscape and identify potential, new, existing and growth businesses.Work with growth clients to develop their business growth plans and refer to specialist advisers or other products, services or partners where appropriate.Develop and maintain current knowledge of the range of business support services available.Promote the range of associated business development services available from VisitScotland.Work with other tourism bodies, groups and businesses to forge a collaborative relationship to identify and access support for Tourism businesses.Provide Digital support and advice for tourism businesses.
