Focused on the personal development and performance success of athletes, and identified strategic organisational support and partnerships for podium outcomes. Doctoral degree conferred in 2008, and thesis commended by the IOC for its pioneering contribution to the field. International Olympic Academy participant 2006: Olympia Greece - knowledge transfer and liaison with 37 international program participants over 4 weeks.

Designed and implemented first university-wide student-athlete need assessment program. Supported over 30 scholarship student-athletes through application of sport management principles.

Developed business plan, financial models, marketing plan, and strategic plan for the management and delivery of programs to support health and physical activity initiatives; Worked in a multi-disciplinary team to develop health promotion initiatives across the Police Service; Conducted and evaluated marketing and administration activities; Conducted fitness assessments and prescribed exercise programs.Substantially increased police and citizen program involvement and use of existing facilities and resources; Outcomes and achievements recognised in industry-publication; Generated continued implementation of quarterly health assessments.

Marketed South-East Queensland as the destination of choice for Olympic athletes and teams for pre-Games training; Liaised with state, national, international stakeholders, delegates, and Chef de Missions to appropriate venue, transport, and event operations in accordance with team requirements; Sourced, trained and supervised volunteers.Placed international delegations including the Italian Olympic Team and British Olympic Association in Queensland for pre-Games training; Confirmed more than 1300 athletes from 15 countries to train in the Gold Coast region during the lead up to the Games; Achieved scholarly publication on volunteerism.
