This role involved being the first point of contact for students, staff and visitors, providing professional, friendly and knowledgeable assistance. On a daily basis organising and scheduling office meetings and appointments for team members and effectively accomodating busy agendas. The role required a high level of communication skills both internally and externally which assisted in resolving student problems and complaints. Other duties included but not limited to, maintaining student database, orchestrating mail outs using Mail Chimp, taking staff meeting minutes and event organisation, mainly graduations, trivia nights and milestone celebrations.

Assisted Head Stylist with wedding ceremony and reception setups. Was able to collaborate with Head Stylist, producing design concepts and creative processes. Duties included flower arrangements, table settings, seating and styling relevant props at venues according to the clients style guide. As well as assisting with bump in and bump out of venue.

As a hotel receptionist my main duties included checking guests in and out, greeting guests and visitors with a positive and helpful attitude, answering phones and routing calls as necessary, performing ad-hoc administrative duties, scheduling appointments and providing excellent customer service.

FASHFEST was Canberra's first ever fashion week event brought to you by Zoo Group. I had the opportunity to intern with FASHFEST to bring the event to life. Working alongside event organisers to assist with seating plans, VIP invitations, gift bags, advertising and promotional distribution and much more. On the nights of the event I was a part of the backstage crew helping dress and organise models, maintaining garments and accessories as well as getting to cue one of the shows. Following the success of FASHFEST 2013 I was asked to help out with Zoo Groups next fashion event, 'HELP FROM THE UNDERGROUND', a fundraising event to raise money for Canberra's homeless community. Again I assisted with the behind the scenes event organisation and with my previous experience on the night assisted backstage.
