Hello, my name is Caroline Smith, and I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting with a minor in finance from the University of Mississippi. Upon graduation, I plan to attend graduate school and complete the CPA exam to further my goal of becoming an audit professional in the accounting industry. This past year, I have taken several courses such as financial accounting, managerial accounting, and business finance, giving me a solid foundation to apply my knowledge to a real-world setting. In January, I will apply these skills during my audit internship at the KPMG office in Nashville. I look forward to continuing to grow both personally and professionally as I pursue a career in accounting.
