• Development of SOPs, planning and implementation of workflow that allowed my coworkers to perform experiments in a systematic way, with autonomy and reducing mistakes during procedures;• Implementation of PV loop technique to evaluate cardiac work in animal models, an experiment that is essential to answer some of the main experimental questions in our laboratory;• Realization of surgical procedures in mice, in order to evaluate electrocardiogram and direct measurement of arterial pressure; echnical support in surgical procedures for myocardial infarction in rats and pigs;• Establishment and handling of 11 linages of genetically modified mice (CRISPR-Cas9 technology), aiming to provide new animal models to evaluate cardiac function. Today, two post-doc and one scientific initiation researchers develop projects working with these mice; • Hands-on training for new laboratory members, mainly related to colonies management, improving the efficiency in the animal house and giving new members autonomy to control their animal models;• Preparation of reports and scientific articles in Portuguese and in English;• Participation on study meetings, interacting with cross functional staff;
